With the TIMERIDE GO! Brewerytour in the monastery Andechs experience the fascinating fascinating world of beer brewing literally with new eyes: mobile VR glasses open up previously hidden insights into the monastery brewery and the art of brewing beer on the spot.
The tour, which is around 700 meters long, takes you through the past and present of the Holy Mountain in six stages: you look back to the year 1455, see mash being created in the brewhouse, follow the fermentation process in the cellar and observe how robotic arms load barrels today. Each VR station opens up new perspectives on the art of brewing beer.
At the end of your time travel through the monastery brewery, a guided beer tasting awaits you. You will learn how to enjoy Andechs beers with all your senses. Four selected beers, depending on the season in a summer or winter edition, ensure a rounded end to your brewery experience. A non-alcoholic alternative is of course also available.
