Your experience begins with Anni’s Grandma Bertha, who introduces you to the world of Christmas in Cologne in times gone by. With the help of a magical book, she shares stories of traditional Christmas customs, festive traditions and the Christmas markets she remembers from her childhood.

Hop aboard a historic streetcar and join Anni on a journey through snow-covered Cologne in the 1920s. As you travel past festively lit streets and Christmas markets and hear the sounds of Christmas Eve Mass, you’ll become immersed in the magical atmosphere of Christmas Eve. Once you arrive at Alter Markt, Anni meets her grandmother, and together they make their way to the festively lit church – the atmospheric finale to an unforgettable Christmas journey.
